Brute De Forge means rough and unfinished, This tuff camp knife shows all of the rough and unfinished markings from the hand forging process of turning a single piece of 80CRV2 Steel into its final form. You will notice the finger well (guard area) was upset back into itself, creating the swell that will protect your fingers by preventing your hand from sliding up onto the seven inch drop point recurved blade. The rustic beauty of this knife is enhanced by a pair of flame maple handle scales. This camp knife has been hand forged and finished by American Bladesmith Society Master Bladesmith Charles Carpenter. The knife also comes complete with a full grain leather sheath that has also been hand tooled and hand stitched by the maker.
