As the Training Officer and Captain of the Rescue Squad for the Lansing Fire Department I became frustrated by the limited and expensive options available in vehicle stabilization and rescue equipment. This led me to develop our own rescue strut design that will be available for emergency service soon.
Our unique Patent Pending design incorporates the strength, speed, control and dependability of hand powered hydraulics integrated into the structural components of our rescue strut.
Our standard HPHRS (Hand Powered Hydraulic Rescue Strut) has a capacity of 6000# with a stroke of 16". It also features one large diameter pin for length adjustment and quick change end adaptors for multiple configuration possibilities.
The HPHRS also breaks down to just the power unit for use in a dash roll extrication or for forcible entry. Accessories will be available to aid in trench or structural rescue making the HPHRS an indispensable tool for the technical rescue professional.
