Wood Burning Supplemental forced air furnace.

The design of this furnace allows for the safe burning of wood as a primary or secondary heat source when attached to an existing forced air system.  These furnaces are made from 3/16" steel plate and weigh over 350# when finished. I have had this design in my head for many years and the recent spike in petroleum related cost has prompted me to make this design a reality.  Efficient alternative heating systems are making a comeback.  This furnace has its own temperature controlled 500cfm blower.  Large firebrick lined 24" deep x 17" wide x 15" high primary burn chamber.  Adjustable secondary burn chamber.  Positive locking solid steel loading door.  Large ash pan.  6" flue pipe. 2-8" diameter hot air supply ducts.  Primary air vent in door.  Secondary air vent below the grate.  Solid steel 3/4" square all welded fire grate.  High temp paint.  Free local delivery.  Installation available.
